OMG its almost the deadline and I've done nothing about it ???. 8 months to go. If I Don't pay the $500 and fill out the forms and answer the quizzes I Can't do new construction work any more after that, just repairs and re-roofing. That would cut out all the Additions and Alteration work as well as the Tanking (basements), probably accounts for 50% of my work load. I'm not too fussed about the new commercial new work any more, Don't get much of it now, best left to the newbies who Don't yet realise what a waste of effort it really is. I need 2 classes, Membrane (rubber and PVC) and Torchon. I Don't think I will bother with Shingles and Slates or Metal Tiles. I had a look through the list of Registered Building Practisioners (LBP?s), which is what you are called once you qualify, who have already signed up, there are 6 guys in Membrane and 7 in Torchon in my area (population of 300,000) all work for 3 seperate companies. I have to study the Regulations, 55 pages. :S
